But what about integrating PoS at the individual level – so that specific baskets are attached to specific journeys?
More detailed PoS integrations support all of those analytic opportunities and more. They open up measurement opportunities that take advantage of specific journey details or occurrences. That includes measurement of the impact of staff/shopper interactions, the impact of journey steps (like visiting the fitting room), and the ability to profile and compare shopper journeys based on outcomes (like purchased product X or spent more than Y dollars).
