Pass-by traffic is an important metric in understanding store opportunity. But the principle of understanding opportunity via traffic applies inside the store as well. You can measure pass-by traffic for everything from an aisle to an endcap to a Section to a display. But depending on how the area is setup and how traffic flows around it, this may require quite different measurement.
